About the Event

Guest Introductions

  1. Yanfang Su: Dr. Yanfang Su obtained her Master's degree in Management from the School of Public Administration at Tsinghua University in 2007 and her Ph.D. in International Population and Health from Harvard University in 2015. She currently works in the Department of International Health at the University of Washington. Dr. Su has conducted policy research and health systems research at the Hong Kong Policy Research Institute, Tsinghua University, Stanford University, and the Gates Foundation.

  2. Simona Su: Simona Su holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Zhejiang University of Technology and an EMBA from HEC Paris, France. A serial entrepreneur, she founded a foreign trade company in 2011, ventured into English education in 2014, co-founded Xinyue Chinese in 2017, and co-founded Veritas Youth in 2024. She is also the Co-founder of Veritas Education Systems Inc.

  3. Kate Jia: Kate Jia received her Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2011 and her Master's degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2013. A multiple-time entrepreneur, she has led several technology startups in Silicon Valley and Seattle, overseeing their initial product strategy and design. Kate is currently dedicated to entrepreneurship in education and culture, as well as engaging in public welfare activities for non-profit organizations.
